Patterns of
intertwined lines spread across a circular transparent tube created
with polyester rubber. At the mouth one piece of metallic black
copper stretched out into a molded mouthpiece. Liquids ran in the
tube, bubbles ignited, they raced to the opening at the end into the
depths of the mouth. On the other side of the action green water
covered everything until it hit a glass wall at a radius of three
feet around the entire circumference.
A body floated
in the liquid. Wires were attached, pulse rates were injected, the
liquid fixated into the body, digging into the cells where it would
attach more for a quicker rejuvenation. The light complexion of the
body was outlined with gargantuan muscles and a slick baldhead. His
name was Nappa.
In the other
side of the recovering cylinder rest a dark computer covering most
of the northern edge of the glass. The lights were shining low
causing a dark presence. Buttons flashed on the computer as noised
shouted out. One other cylinder cast a shadow on the gray ground
right next to the first.
A body floated
like the previous but the being had long gigantic hair casting down
to his knees. His black spiked hair stayed in strands as only two
strands dangled down into his forehead. His body was slightly burned
so as the last. It cast an eerie orange glow burned into the skin. A
lighter one was into the first.
Inside the
first cylinder Nappa’s eyes twitched as they slowly began to open
revealing his black colored eye. Movement began inside the tube as
ripples moved up. Immediately the computers flashed and ticked. A
bright light then appeared above the cylinder as the glass wall slid
open. A slight plateau of the bottom was indented. The bottom of the
increase had large wholes. As the glass door slid the water
instantly emptied out into the artificial wholes. His moist body
appeared as the water moved to his feet and finally none. He then
stepped out of the empty tube and walked to the border of the dark
room.
A curved black
cabinet stood out with the word ‘clothes’ pressed on the front. A
gray handle also was attached. A grin appeared on the worn face.
Scars began to appear as the water finally began to dissolve.
He opened the
cabinet and grasped onto some white folded clothes. He unfolded the
clothes and silently slipped them on. First the wavy baggy pants
tied on with a black strap of woven fat rope then also a wavy white
shirt tucked in under the waist. The cut off sleeves revealed his
bulky arms and enormous veins. The v-type shirt stretched down to
his chest region leaving the v to be arched.
He walked to
the computer with his newfound clothes. The pants hit his barren
feet as they pressed down on his muscles the same went for his
shirt. His fingers flew across the keys of the computer buttons
turned red as he hit the release button for the second tube. Silence
filled the dank room as the glass door slid open, water rushed
downward as the two Saiyans were reunited.
“Nappa, what
the hell happened? The last thing I knew was that damned Kakarott
screaming! Did he blast us or something? If he did I’d…”
Nappa
interrupted quickly, “Don’t say anything you might regret!” A grin
flashed across his face. He started to laugh as he pointed a finger
to his partner’s bare skin.
His brow went
up as he stepped out of the cylinder. He slowly walked to the next
curved black cabinet as he opened the black built-in cabinet and
quickly slipped on the white clothes.
“Radditz,
where’s Kakarott and Vegeta?”
Radditz’s hair
flipped over as he turned around to face his colleague.
“When I first
had cerebral contact I heard something about the Main Chamber.
Apparently Prince Vegeta took Kakarott there”
Nappa nodded as
he headed for the door. Radditz followed. The double-door flashed
back quickly as the duo headed for the end of the hall. The long
rectangle was lighted with low lights and decorated with elegance
reaching from the red velvet chair furnished with oak from the
Oriental rug spinning to the end with complete beauty. They were in
the Saiyan Headquarters.
Twists and
turns led the two to a final double-door lined with rich design of
dark wood. Nappa pushed it open and a grand sight filled his vision.
The Chamber was a complete circle spiraling upward at the middle. At
the door the ceiling was about ten feet and at the end of the short
walkway rest polished stone pillars that ran around the circular
area.
After Nappa and
Radditz stepped a couple feet the blank white ceiling shot upward
hundreds of feet and stopped at thousands of window panes attached
together to make one gigantic clear view of the blackness of space.
The soft beat of the two Saiyan echoed in the grandeur room. The
floor was tiled with a blur of grays and whites mixed together in a
supreme view of excellence fit for aristocrats.
The Chamber was
drenched in bloom, Vegeta was nowhere in sight. They each looked at
each other with a look of confusion.
“Where do you
think they are? You don’t think Kakarott might have… escaped do
you?” Nappa’s voice flew throughout the Chamber, bouncing off the
elegance.
Radditz shook
his head.
“Prince Vegeta
is too strong for someone with the powers such as Kakarott to
overpower him. Remember, Vegeta is the Chosen One. He cannot die
until he reaches the goal of the Saiyan race. Have faith my friend”
Nappa sighed.
“Well let’s get
moving we got a lot of ground to cover”
The two
warriors started north as they walked across the entire Chamber to
the other side where they searched for their prince.
After an hour
and a long search Radditz heard distant noises, noises of fighting.
They slowly walked to the scene. The massive size of the Saiyan
Headquarters made searching for someone virtually impossible in this
case only two was even more a distant thought. They finally reached
the fight. A good-size crowd appeared out of a door. It was yet
another circular room with a colossal dirt ring sometimes used for
great fights. Heads of every sort left the two unable to see the
fight. By the presence of a great power level Nappa and Radditz knew
it was their prince. They quickly shoved people out of place
knocking them into the fine walls leaving imprints. The kicked
people on their ankles and while they were in the air Nappa would
elbow them in the nose causing them to fly into the floor. With
brutal onslaught, the two Saiyan were finally at the front.
Kakarott and
Vegeta were having a fight.
Goku’s fist was
flying through the air and coming back without a hit. His kicks
proved worthless as well as anything else he had planned. After he
had passed out he was awoken to Vegeta. He was in grand chamber of
some sort. Vegeta had called it the Main Chamber. After that he had
remembered why everything happened and quickly began with the fight.
Now everything
seemed so worthless in a way he had never felt before. His emotions
were blurred. His friends and family were killed. Earth was no more.
He had nothing to lose. The only thing that kept on fueling his fire
was the one thing he hated the most. Vegeta. But even the
destruction of the prince seemed impossible. He was stronger,
faster, and even smarter than him.
Goku rested his
arms at his side as he lowered his head in shame. The crowd roared
in laughter. He could distantly see Vegeta grinning with acceptance.
Goku drifted off into his thoughts. Thoughts about his son, his
wife, his friends, Earth. So much devotion into the planet for
nothing, so much love into the people he adored for nothing.
A wave of power
then swept him. His muscles increased and veins popped out. He
trembled as he curled his fist once again. He then started to twitch
his face muscles as a rage he never felt before took him. He closed
his eyes shut tightly trying to get away from this new power. This
odd feeling he’d never felt.
Golden
lightning bolts shattered into an invisible wall as blackness
captured him in the mists of his mind. Thunder erupted in the
outskirts of his thoughts. It was then when it happened. An icy cold
feeling shot into him as he violently opened his eyes, at the
instant the power took him. His spiky black hair suddenly flashed
golden as the strands of black viciously flared up, as they turned
golden. He then knew it was time.
With the same
impossible speed from before he times that by ten as he extended his
arm and hit Vegeta in the chest. The power of the punch sent
Vegeta’s body flying to the wall with extreme speed as he actually
was sent through the wall going into the next room. Dust flew
everywhere as the hole fell apart. A hard thud then flooded the
grand chamber they were in with an echo.
Goku lowered his head. He felt a
tear coming up to his eye. The water came up to his eyelid as it
dropped. It was a golden tear. The flashy drop reflected off the
light causing a white outline. It splashed on the granite ground and
the mystery gold joy trip ended.
